The Dictionary offers 3 word search methods for users to choose from, when locating for words in the 558 Easy-to-Use Chinese/English Dictionary of Words and Phrases.
(1) Search a word by Hanyupinyin

If you already know how the word sounds in Hanyupinyin, you may wish to use the Hanyupinyin Index to locate the word and its corresponding page number.

All the words in the 558 Chinese/ English Dictionary are listed and arranged alphabetically according to their Hanyupinyin in the Hanyupinyin Index.
